Super Heros, Rocker Girls and a Sugar Skull
Posting a few photos of faces we've done this summer. I think we need to start bringing a photographer along with us to these events so that we can share more of our work! Seems we are too busy painting to pick up a camera! Anyway, here are a few favorites!

Rockin' Out!
We just had the most amazing weekend ever for la-la land Face Painting! 3 different jobs, Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
We started Friday evening at Reeths-Puffer Elementary painting for nearly 3 hours for their Winter Carnival. I think we were a bigger hit than expected, because we were painting fast faces, and couldn't keep up. I couldn't even guess how many kids we painted, hundreds? It was nuts. Thank you to their PTO who brought us in, and helped to keep our lines running smoothly. A line manager will be a must from here on out!
Saturday we had a private gig at Caberfae Ski Club. We had a beautiful ride up there and even had a Bald Eagle fly right in front of us! Once at the club, they were having a family day which included bonfires, and carraige rides pulled by the most gorgous draft horses I've ever seen! We did face painting and balloon twisting for the guests and it was awesome. They didnt want us to stop, we ended up going over time and have been invited back! The kids were fantastic and so sweet(their parents too!) Can't wait to go play there again next month! Thanks for having us!
We wrapped up the weekend in Wayland, MI at the brand new Gun Lake Casino for the Tribe Celebration. They open for the day only for member of the Gun Lake Tribe of Indians and their children. What a great experience to see the casino before opening, and the excitment was everywhere! We painted for 4 hours and had to cut off the line! The kids were in love with the face painting and we are already getting calls from their guests to do private parties. What a wonderful experience that was.
My only regret is the total lack of photos! When you are working as hard as we have been, a camera is the last thing we worry about. We really need to be better about that!
And....if you are thinking face painting might be perfect for your next event or birthday party, drop us a line! lalalandgurls@gmail.com!
